Mr. Meltzer brought the Chester chapter of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) to SIU Carbondale on Jan. 23.

The trip consisted of a wide variety of options in college including scholarships and career options in agriculture that would help the FFA members in pursuing their careers. The group then left for an SIU basketball game with free food provided. The Salukis won, ending a four-game losing streak. The group looks forward to more activities in the future.
