The Chester Academic Challenge Team won the Regional held Feb. 6 at the John A. Logan College campus.

Several people placed in different categories Kaleb Hughes placed 2nd in Biology and 1st in Chemistry. Emma Draves placed 3rd in Biology and 2nd in Chemistry. Elizabeth Soellner placed 3rd in English. Destiny Williams placed 3rd in Math. Alyssa Place placed 1st in Computer Science. 

Chester advances as a team to the sectional at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
