Lady Jackets Open Sparta Invite With Win

The Chester Lady Yellow Jackets opened their 2019-20 basketball season with a 56-47 win over Red Bud in the Sparta Invitational.
The game was tied at halftime and Red Bud even pulled ahead in the third quarter before Chester dominated the final quarter.
Kendall Williams led Chester with 20 points. Alyssa Seymour scored 13 and Destiny Williams ten.
Chester plays Sparta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22.
The Yellow Jackets close the tourney with two games on Saturday, Nov. 23. Chester plays Trico at 11 a.m. and Steeleville at 2:30 p.m.
