The Chester Lady Yellow Jackets improved to 9-2 with a 71-57 win over Waterloo Tuesday.

Reese Chandler nailed seven three-pointers and finished with 21 points. Destiny Williams and Josie Kattenbraker scored ten points each, Trinity Brown and Alyssa Seymour each tallied nine points and Kendall Williams had eight points.

The Lady Jackets evened their conference record at 1-1 with a 58-39 road win over Sesser-Valier Saturday.

Kendall Williams led Chester with 25 points. She also had five assists, four rebounds and three steals. Destiny Williams had 11 points and five rebounds. Seymour had eight points and eight rebounds. Kattenbraker had six points and nine rebounds. Brown had five points, four assists and four rebounds.

It marked the first time Chester had defeated Sesser there since the team joined the Black Diamond Conference.

The win followed a 70-41 victory over Cobden on Friday.

Destiny Williams exploded for 30 points, hitting six of the team’s ten three-pointers. Kendall Williams scored 13, and Chandler and Kattenbraker tallied three points each.

The Lady Jackets lost to Saxony Lutheran at home Monday. The Lady Jackets play Goreville on Dec. 21.
