“Sting” Goes Online Through IPA Grant

The Chester High School Sting newspaper received an Illinois Press Foundation (IPF) mini-grant to fund a digitized version of the school paper.

The $1,050 grant covers set-up costs and fees for two years to use the SNOSite program to produce an online paper. The website is located at chssting.com and also appears on the school website. The Sting has received previous IPF grants to fund a camera and computer.

The IPF awarded $20,895 in grants. The IPF is the charitable arm of the Illinois Press Association.
