Vasquez Finishes Tenth In State
Paige Vasquez finished second to qualify for state in the shot put.

Senior Paige Vasquez finished tenth the Class 1A State Track Shot Put competition on May 20.
Vasquez finished 11th in Thursday’s preliminary rounds. Her qualifying throw was 10.79 meters.
Jazzi Merideth placed 25th at the state meet, running the 100 meter hurdles in 17.75.
The Chester girls track team competed at Sectionals hosted by Chester High School on May 11th.
The girls placed fourth overall and had two state qualifiers. Jazzi Merideth placed 2nd in the 100 meter hurdles. Paige Vasquez placed 3rd in shot put.
There were some close state qualifiers. Jessica Stumpe placed 4th in the pole vault. Emma Eggemeyer placed 4th in shot put. Jazzi Merideth placed 3rd in 300 meter hurdles. Addy May placed third in the 2 mile.
