The Chester football team held its scrimmage on Aug. 23. The Yellowjackets open their season at home against Edwards County on Friday.
The first varsity home game was a hard one for the Yellowjackets, with a losing score of 20 to 48.
The next game of the year was freshmen going against Benton, which was a hard game for our team. Until 2 periods our team was losing, the Yellowjackets made one touchdown in that period and won with that one touchdown. They set the bar for varsity but sadly lost with no touchdowns and no score to 50.
