CHS hosted a powderpuff game on October 25th @ 6:15 pm in support of our Football team making playoffs. The teams will have 12 girls for each team and 3 boy coaches. There will also be 8 to 10 boy cheerleaders. The

The game consisted of a Freshman vs Sophmore and Juniors vs. Seniors. After those games, there was a final. The Sophmores beat the Freshman by a good amount then it was a close game between the Juniors and Seniors. Their game went well over the time limit to the point they were moved up closer to the touchdown area. The Seniors finally scored and won the game. The final match was a game between the Sophmores and Seniors where the Seniors won.

The Freshman and Junior supported their team on the visiting side of the football field while the Sophomore and Seniors cheered from the home side of the field. This is also where the cheerleaders will cheer for their class.

Each game consisted of two halves with a clock running for 15 with no stopping and a 5-minute halftime. At the last two minutes, the clock will stop for penalties only. Unlike normal football, there will be no tackling. A “tackle” will occur when the defensive player removes a flag from the belt of the offensive player with the ball.

A bonfire occurred after the games.
