Over 15 years after Sabrina the Teenage Witch, a popular show based on the comics of the same name, ended, Netflix has brought it back with a twist. Both series follow Sabrina Spellman, a half mortal witch, as she tries to balance both sides of her life. However, the remake, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, isn’t quite the family friendly sitcom the original was. In the new series, the Spellmans are dark witches who worship Satan. The series is grim, bloody, and, overall, chilling. None of this is a surprise, although, as the show is set in the same universe as Riverdale. It’s really not for the faint of heart, but if you loved the original and don’t mind the occasional satanist ritual, binge watch the first ten episodes on Netflix.*
