Mr. Steve Colonel won the annual Christmas light contest. There are 3 different categories and Colonel won the Most Kid Appealing.
His Christmas light collection had been growing bigger and bigger each year and started forever ago.
This weekend, December 16th and 17th from 5:30 to 8 pm, the Colonels will be outside of their house collecting donations for the Chester Area Christian Food Pantry. At both the grade and high school Christmas concerts, they collected money for the pantry, they raised $2,357.81 so far this year. $545.41 was raised at the Grade school concert, $794.40 was raised at the High School concert, and $1,018 was raised by donations from people stopping by to see the lights.
Mr. Colonel has earned a total of $10,154.93 since he started collecting donations for the food pantry in 2020.
