Mrs. Hankins took the Green Team onto a trip to the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station on Wednesday, January 10.
The students were allowed to do several activities such as feeding stingray, petting jellyfish, learning the several different types of sea life and their habitats, going through a mirror maze, and visiting and making a Build-a-Bear!
The students were allowed to go wherever they liked at the aquarium as long as they were in a group, and that they met back up at 12 to discuss lunch. The club collectively agreed to go to a nearby food hall, where the students could go and get lunch at any stand they wished.
The club members who attended were: Chase Gilbert, Rylie McDonough, Kinsli McCartney, Will Welge, Elizabeth Wilson, Ivan Hobbs, Paige Hamilton, Tony Hernendez-Huerta, Rylie Conley, Whitney Sulser, Hannah Hoskin, Kiara Mathis, Chelse Mathis, and Hannah Stueve.
The team had a wonderful time, and learned a lot about the environment under water!
