The Poetry Out Loud contest that was originally scheduled for Monday night was rescheduled to Friday, January 26th at 5:00 p.m. due to the snow day Chester High School had. The judges were Paula Ray, Kira Browning, and Mike Springston.

The winners earned a spot in the Regional competition on February 9th.
