On January 12, 2024, Chester Senior Jasmine Merideth signed to run track and field for Missouri Baptist. Jazzi plans to major in exercise science and hopes to become a Physical Therapist.
In college, Jazzi plans on only participating in track and field. She has done track since 5th grade at St John Lutheran. During her freshman, sophomore, and junior years Jazzi was a Cahokia Conference “All Conference” honoree. Last year as a Junior, Jazzi qualified to compete at the State Track and Field Meet in the 100-meter hurdles. She was track MVP in her sophomore and junior years. She also qualified and ran at state junior year and all south junior year.
Besides being on the track team, Jazzi also plays volleyball, basketball, and is a cheerleader for Chester Yellow Jackets.
Along with the many sports Jazzi plays, she is also involved in many different activities at Chester High School. She is a member of the Student Council, Spanish Club, FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), the HIVE pep club, and SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions Decisions).
When Jazzi isn’t play sports or doing a club activites she likes to hang out with her friends.
Congratulations Jazzi and we cannot wait to see what the future holds.
