All college-bound seniors will receive help with setting up their FAFSA ID during 7th and 8th hour on February 1st. This is required to submit a FAFSA form online. Seniors will need to have their Social Security Number and a personal email. If you do not bring your items to school, you will not get help with your FAFSA ID.
FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) night will be February 15th from 4:00 – 6:30 during parent/teacher meetings. Parents and students who need help filling out the FAFSA will need to come here to receive help.
The FAFSA is mandatory for all college-bound seniors. If you don’t plan on going to college, you will need to get a non-participant form from Mrs. Hammel, Mrs. Ray, or Ms. Hodge
State law mandates all Illinois public high school seniors to complete either the FAFSA or a non-participant form to receive a high school diploma.
If you have any questions, email Mrs. Hawkins @ caskeyhawkins@chester139 before 7th hour on Thursday.
