FCA held a meeting on March 5th, to listen to Nick Hill, SIU’s head football coach.
He addressed many different topics that contained to the Christian religion such as when we love God with all our heart, we are then also able to show His love to our neighbor, sometimes the Truth is uncomfortable, you can have fun as a Christian, and we can still prey for people who are mean to us.
Hill received the 2024 Grant Teaff Coach of the Year Award. Due to his religion, he knows that demonstrating a Christ-centered life to his players and coaching staff is important. That is what he does with his players and staff. With Hill’s coaching, the SIU has a record of 10-6 against ranked teams, with wins over the No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 15, No. 17, No. 19, No. 20, No. 22, and No. 25-ranked programs during the past 3 years.
We thank Hill for coming in and Mr. Beers, who came up with the idea, and Mr. Wente, who set it up.
