CHS held a Blood Drive on Thursday, April 25th, to collect blood for those in need. SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) sponsored the blood drive. These donors included CHS students, staff and community members.
In total, there were 39 units and 4 PowerRed donors! To sign up to donate, you had to be 16 years of age with parental permission and weigh at least 110 pounds. This year we had 29 first-time donors. It would be greatly appreciated if you would contribute to the blood drive next year!
As always, donors are encouraged to get a full night’s rest, stay hydrated, and eat a good meal before and after giving blood. A big thank you to Cheri Boyd and SADD, as well as those who donated!
