Isaiah Roth signed to play marching band for Southern Illinois University Salukis, on Wednesday, April 24.
Roth has been a part of Band since 5th grade. Isaiah started palying the Alto Saxophone and upgraded to the Baritone Saxophone in 6th grade. Outside of school, he also plays piano and ukulele.
Isaiah’s favorite memory is in 8th grade when he tagged along with the CHS pep band to play at the State Girl’s Basketball Game in Bloomington.
At SIUC, Isaiah will be majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Music Business and plans on earning his Master’s degree.
He will become a full time college student while offering many services including photography, graphic design, and commercial-making for local businesses with Roth Studios.
After college, Roth plans on working in a public relations/marketing firm or becoming a private public.
SIUC, to Isaiah, has the perfect location, it’s not too far from his home but it’s far enough to where he will meet a ton of new people. Isaiah’s mother is also an alumni which made him really want to lean into legacy and continue his family line with the Salukis.
