CHS hosted its annual Gatorade game at W.O. Smith Field on Aug 23, 2024 .
This year, the Gatorade game was a little different, as the Yellow Jackets hosted the Carbondale Terriers for a scrimmage, featuring former Chester football coach, Bryan Lee.
The offense was clicking for the Yellow Jackets and the defense was locking up the Terriers offense. The Terries made some big plays but so did the Yellow Jackets. It was a great event for both teams to prepare for the upcoming season.
Chester football will begin their season with the first official game at Du Quoin on August 30th.
