The Chester Yellow Jackets Boys Golf Team hosted teams from Red Bud, Okawville, and New Athens on Tuesday, September 3.

It was the perfect day for a golf match because the weather was ideal.

The Varsity Boys walked away with a win and a team score of 160. There was a four-way tie for medalist, all shooting 38. Sophomores, Tallen James and Trevin Eggemeyer, were two of those players, and the other two players in the tie were from Red Bud and Okawville.

The Junior Varsity team shot a combined score of 232, earning them a win as well. This match was a major victory for the team as a whole.
