Album #1: Everything I Know About Love by Laufey
Favorite Song: Dear Soulmate
Notes: This was a suggestion from Grace Kirkpatrick. I love Laufey’s music so much, so of course I’m obsessed with this album! Laufey’s vocals are absolutely beautiful and each song clearly had so much thought put into them. All of the songs on the album were so loving and personal, yet you could still find a way to relate and connect with the songs. If you listen to any album on this list, make it this one!
Album #2: Heroes of the Great War by Sabaton
Favorite Song: Lady of the Dark
Notes: This was a suggestion from Jack Kennedy. This is my second time reviewing a Sabaton album, and my thoughts on them haven’t changed all that much. Sabaton’s music isn’t bad, it’s just not something I typically listen to. I’m not a big listener of “war-based” music, so I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it.
Album #3: Cosmic by Red Velvet
Favorite Song: Sunflower
Notes: This was a suggestion from Will Welge. I’m a big fan of K-pop music, and Red Velvet is one of the most popular female K-pop groups out there. I typically enjoy their music a lot, but Cosmic just sorta fell short for me. It’s not my favorite, nor my least favorite, it’s just an okay EP with nothing too special about it.
