This year’s Homecoming at CHS is unlike any other that has been done before. During Homecoming week we have dress up days all week and on Wednesday, there will be no structured classes. This year, instead of having a whole week to work on the hallway and floats, the students are only given one day, which is Wednesday. Even though having only one day to work on things seems like a bad idea, it’s not. With everyone working together throughout the day for continuous hours, all classes will be able to get their vision onto their floats with no problem. Along with the hallway and float decorating, students were able to pick an A.M. and a P.M. activity they chose to do on this day. Students could choose from doing the hallway or float decorating, making paper lanterns or flowers, making the banner for the float, or painting a piece of plywood for different clubs or sports. With the whole school participating in these activities it will allow the homecoming dance and parade to be less stressful for everyone and hopefully better than ever before.
