Album #1: The Great American Bar Scene by Zach Bryan
Favorite Song: Bass Boat
Notes: This isn’t my first time reviewing a Zach Bryan album on the Sting before, and I can confidently say this is my favorite album by him so far. So many songs on here showcase many raw emotions that you can’t help but feel for the Country star. I really loved this album, it’s one of the best albums this year so far. If you listen to Country music often, you’ve probably already heard songs off of this album.
Album #2: No Hands (Deluxe Edition) by Joey Valence & Brae
Favorite Song: The Baddest (Badder) [feat. Ayesha Erotica]
Notes: Once again, this is not my first time reviewing an album by this band. I’ve been a huge fan of them for years now so I already knew I would struggle picking a favorite song. JVB’s structure for when they make music is to take whatever they made before, and make it something new and better. They constantly push out fun and upbeat music with amazing rhymes that you can’t help but enjoy.
Album #3: Clear Hearts Grey Flowers by Jack Off Jill
Favorite Song: Cinnamon Spider
Notes: If I had to settle on one music genre to be my favorite, it would have to be Riot Grrrl. Jack Off Jill is often considered a Riot Grrrl band, so I instantly knew I would enjoy this album. They perfectly blend both Goth and Punk music together that makes for the perfect album in my opinion. This has both semi-screamer music and some instrumentals on here. If you want to get into any of these subcultures of alternative music, I recommend giving this a listen.
