The movie “Encanto” was made in 2021, and it follows the story of Mirabel Madrigal. A young teen who lives in a family full of magical people, with no powers or “gifts” as they call them herself. I run through the emotions of Mirabel and many of her different family members. Using catchy songs along the way. Personally, this is one of my favorite Disney movies, so I give it a 9/10 for rating. The catchy songs and lovable characters truly allow many kids to love it. But the more mature feelings some of the Madrigals go through allows it to also connect with some teens. My favorite song in the movie is “What Else Can I Do”, which is a gorgeous song sung by Mirabel and her sister Isabela. If you haven’t seen this movie already, I truly recommend watching it. It is a simple movie done incredibly well
