Scream, released December 20, 1996

This week’s movie will start our Halloween/Horror section. It will last from now up until two weeks into November when I will start the Christmas section. Now onto this week’s movie.

Scream, created in 1996, was the first movie of the Scream series.

It follows the story of Sydney Prescott, and her horror filled life. This movie is a horror classic, being one of the first in its era to truly bring back the gore of the horror genre. The twists and turns are amazing leaving you on the edge of your seat almost the whole movie.

One thing I really enjoy about this movie is its irony. I rate this movie a 10/10, and if you haven’t seen it. I really suggest you watch it.
