Chester Public Library director, Kira Browning, visited our CHS Creative Writing circle last week to record some audio books for Halloween.
While Ms. Browning was here, she taught the students all about the online program, Twisted Wave, which is used for recording and editing audio. Students are now able to record and produce their own audiobooks and other spoken recordings. As a result of this visit, many students took an interest in pursuing a career in voice acting.
The audiobooks will be a part of the Chester Library’s “Dial-a-Story” program. All residents are invited and encouraged to check this out by calling the number that follows – 888.333.1816
This program is not only for CHS students, but the community can also participate. Any members of the community that are interested in recording their own audio books as well can reach out to Kira Browning at the Chester Public Library.
As the school year continues, Miss Hodge’s Creative Writing Circle will continue to update the Dial-a-Story. Dial-a-Story is available 24/7, 365 days a year, and is always free to call!
