Each year, World Teachers Day falls around the beginning of the school year or the start of a new semester. For Chester, it is October 4th this year. It’s a busy time for teachers. This year’s theme for World Teachers Day is “Valuing teachers’ voices: towards a new social contract for education” . This reminds us of the time and hard work teachers bring to their profession daily, doing everything it takes to positively impact their student’s lives. So let’s tell the teachers how much we truly appreciate them, and that they mean a lot to us. They take time to make sure we are successful in our lives, to help us graduate. All in all they are amazing people, and deserve to be seen as such. Thank you teachers for all that you do.
