The next costume is the Clown!
The clown costume is an all-time classic costume that can either be very simple or very scary.
Clown costumes often include the colorful jumpsuits, big shoes, red nose, and vibrant hair! There are many different directions you could go when dressing up as a clown. Most notable clown characters include Pennywise from It, Krusty the Clown from The Simpsons, and Art the Clown from Terrifier.
That being said, dressing up as a real person such as John Wayne Gacy is never okay. It is highly inappropriate and insensitive to the people involved in the tragedy.
Although clowns are seen as scary creatures now, they were once seen as fun and upbeat and someone to bring happiness to others!
