On October 25th, Mrs. Hammel’s 4th hour Novels class was assigned an amazing project where they had to create a charcuterie board based off of the book they are reading, The Grace Year by Kim Liggett.
These students were put into groups and three boards were created which turned out to be absolutely amazing!! On these boards had to be some sort of food that would relate to the book including a note card that described what the food was and how it was included in the book. Mrs. Hammel’s class is hoping to continue the tradition of this class project for the different chapters of not only this book but also books they read in the future.
Mrs. Hammel’s Novels class is a great experience if you love to read and be creative. She hopes to have many more students join her in this adventure next year!
