Album #1: Deeper Well: Deeper Into the Well by Kacey Musgraves

Favorite Song: Cardinal

Notes: I really tried to like this album, and there were definitely a few good songs on here, but the album as a whole just wasn’t my favorite. I think it was the combination of lyrics, production, and the use of auto tune that kinda threw me off at times. I will say that regardless of my opinions, Kacey definitely writes from the heart in this album and clearly this music means a lot to her. I think how music moves you is the most important part of the listening experience, and this album will definitely do that to some people which is special.

Album #2: Got Me Like by Berryblue

Favorite Song: Poison

Notes: I want to start off by saying this is definitely my favorite album on this list. I had never heard of BerryBlue before this, but this album was amazing. It was such a fun and unique dance/pop album that will always put me in a good mood. If you’re a fan of someone like PinkPantheress, I recommend giving this a listen.

Album #3: Soft is Strong by Katseye

Favorite Song: Touch

Notes: I adore Katseye immensely, as their music is amazing and watching them have such a fun time performing their music and dance moves shows that they are clearly passionate about their work. “SIS” being their debut EP really shows off what kind of idol music they will produce, and it just works perfectly for their range of vocals and abilities.
