The movie, “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before,” made in 2018 is based on the award winning book written by Jenny Han with the same title.
The story follows the life of teenage girl Laura Jean (Song) Covey, as she deals with her secret love letters being shipped out. As Laura Jean starts her damage control, she receives an offer from the school “popular boy” named Peter Kavinsky to fake date to so he can one, help her do damage control, and two, to make his ex-girlfriend jealous. As they go throughout their fake dating journey, real feelings start to develop and conspire, leaving both parties dependent on each other.
Now, as a very avid movie watcher, there are some movies I will always come back to, and this is in my number one spot. Whenever I’m having a bad day, or just not feeling like myself, nothing makes me more happy than to watch this movie. It was wonderfully made, the actors and actresses are incredible, and truly the story is just fun and entertaining. This movie might not be for everyone considering its rom-com nature, but I personally recommend this movie more than I’ve ever recommended another movie. I rate this movie a 10/10.
