On January 18, the CHS Dance Team travelled to Marion for another regional competition. At this competition they took home 1st in Jazz and 2nd in Open Pom as well as a qualifying score for their jazz routine. The dance team will compete again on February 8th in Highland IL, aiming for a qualifying score with their open pom routine. They danced to a “Paint It Black” by the Rolling Stones for jazz, and then a curated mix made with songs about game day/ winning which we call Game Day for pom.
