10 Things I Hate About You released on March 31, 1999

“10 Things I Hate About You,” created in 1999, is one of the most well known romance movies around the world. It’s witty and sarcastic in nature allows it to almost stay with the times as it moves from the 90’s into the 20oo’s.

The lead female character Kat Stratford, played by Julia Stiles, is the kind of character that all sorts of teenagers can relate to. She puts up a tough front that many teens can relate to, and when we do finally see her walls break down and learn of her story, it is a very sad but powerful moment for the character and viewers.

Now personally speaking, I love this movie. I’ve been watching it for years and it never bores me. So for those reasons, I’m going to give this movie a 9/10.
