Album #1: Good Luck, Goodbye (Over Nostalgic Edition) by Kenzie Cait
Favorite Song: No Duh
Notes: “Good Luck, Goodbye” is a cute indie-pop album that is a very short and a quick listen. It’s mainly Kenzie Cait singing about her love life or her friends. This album gives me major Madison Beer mixed with early Sabrina Carpenter vibes, which is not a bad thing at all. I love this simpler pop music, as it’s very relaxing and is easy to connect to on an emotional level. I definitely recommend this album.
Album #2: Starboy (Deluxe) by The Weeknd
Favorite Song: Sidewalks (feat. Kendrick Lamar)
Notes: Once again, I am doing another album by The Weeknd, but I couldn’t help myself as his music is just amazing. I love the alternative R&B music, and The Weeknd has an endless supply of this perfect music in this genre. I would argue that “Starboy” is his most popular album, and for a good reason. The multiple features, the lyrics, and the overall vibe of this album is just perfection. Once again, I recommend giving this album a listen, though I’m sure the majority of you have all heard at least one song off of it before.
Album #3: Masterpiece by Big Thief
Favorite Song: Real Love
Notes: I absolutely adore folk rock music, so when I found out about Big Thief, I just had to listen to them instantly. The band’s lead singer is Adrianne Lenker who has recently had a lot of music off of her album titled “Songs,” go insanely popular very quickly on social media apps like TikTok and Instagram. If you happen to give Big Thief a listen, this is why their music will sound very similar to Lenker’s. Thankfully, I loved this album and recommend it, so that makes this entire list an absolute win! But in all honesty, this album is phenomenal and if you like folk music, this is just perfect.
