“Cry-Baby,” released in 1990, follows the story of Wade Walker (Cry-Baby), played by Johnny Depp, and Alison Vernon-Williams, played by Amy Locane.
This movie is set in Baltimore Maryland in 1954, as the town is split into two groups, the Squares and the Drapes. Cry-Baby and Alison are set on opposite sides of the track, but they won’t stop them from trying to be together. By the end of the movie we learn whether or not the two are able to find themselves happy together.
I might be the tiniest bit biased, but I adore this movie. The characters, the music, the set, and the costume, are just phenomenal, and the story itself is incredibly interesting. I love this movie so much that I burnt through a CD of it when I was a kid.
I personally rate this movie a 10/10 and suggest that anyone who can, should watch it.
