The Chester District 139 held a board meeting on April 10 that covered several key issues, including teacher tenure and administrative contracts.
Six high school teachers—Mr. Bryce Bainter, Mrs. Marsh Bartly, Mrs. Jackie Clendenin, Ms. Cheri Dierks, Miss Rana Hodge, and Mrs. Brittany Mueller were granted tenure. Achieving tenure is a considerable accomplishment, demonstrating both a prolonged commitment and a high level of success in the chosen field. Additionally, Mrs. Robin Barton signed a five-year contract as Vice Principal of Chester High School, and Mrs. Shirley Stegmann signed a two-year contract as Curriculum Director.
