The CHS Dance Team held its tryouts April 1st through the 4th.

This year’s tryouts consisted of a short mini routine danced to “Breakin’ Dishes” by Rihanna, as well as an 8-count sideline dance to “Pon de Replay,” also by Rihanna. At this tryout, they also had to attempt a bunch of skills, such as turns, toe touches, and a variety of leaps.

The upcoming dancers for the 2025-2026 season will be Seniors Hayden Cartwright, Megan Zimmer, and Annah Helvey Ahring, as well as Southern LaChance; juniors Aubrey Petrowske, Macy VanZandt, and Katie Werner; sophomores Jaden Bert, Grace Irose, and Justice Mattingly; and freshmen Peyton Moll and Kennedy Nortin.
