Album #1: Childstar by Grace VanderWaal
Favorite Song: What’s Left Of Me
Notes: I did not expect to like this album, but I absolutely loved it so much. The album was emotional, fun, thoughtful, and just everything that symbolizes teenage life. Grace VanderWaal is most known for being on “America’s Got Talent,” and that has been speculated to take up a big part of her childhood. I believe that this was a passion project for VanderWaal to really express her intense past. I loved this album, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
Album #2: Tunnel of Love by Insane Clown Posse
Favorite Song: Prom Queen
Notes: “Tunnel of Love” is your basic Insane Clown Posse (ICP) EP, that really showcases their twisted way of story telling throughout their music. I grew up a lot on ICP’s music, so I had already heard most of these songs before. I enjoy their music, and if you like Nu Metal then you should definitely give them a listen.
Album #3: Untie My Tongue by Asha Banks
Favorite Song: So Green
Notes: This was not the best EP that I’ve heard, but I will personally keep an eye on Asha Banks. Her vocals are amazing, and her style of music is very cutesy. The lyricism just wasn’t my favorite. I do believe that she could do better, and her future music will definitely be a favorite of mine!
