Jason Sibley has had an incredible run in his series of wins for the Poem of the Month competition.
According to the poet, “I am a writer, and musician. I like to write and play with my dog. I like theater and being involved in the acting process.”
I Have a Question…
I have a query?
My brain hungers…
Are you finished?
May I speak?
My mind, it aches to know…
Are you satisfied with the kind of life you’ve led?
Are you content with the path you’ve chosen?
You’re not?
That’s too bad.
You were doing so good.
That needs to be different.
You need a change of scenery, kid.
Taste the fruit.
Listen to the music.
Can’t you hear it?
Calling your name?
Like a soft kitten, mewling for its mother.
I can.
The Poem of the Month competition will begin again in Fall 2025.
All students, staff, and alumni are invited to enter!
