Album #1: Skeletá by Ghost
Favorite Song: Peacefield
Notes: “Skeletá” is your basic Ghost album, as they don’t try anything new, which was something I was hoping for here. It’s a good album, but it didn’t exactly blow me away in any sense. I liked it, and I’ll continue to listen to some of the songs, but when ranking Ghost albums this is nowhere near the top of the list.
Album #2: Better Than Heaven by Stacey Q
Favorite Song: Music Out Of Bounds
Notes: This album holds such a special place in my heart, because it is exactly the definition of 80’s music, specifically the pop-dance genre! I love this album so much, as it’s so upbeat and fun and Stacey Q’s vocals are just perfection. If you enjoy the “retro” feel of dance music, I highly recommend this album.
Album #3: Eve: Romance by Bibi
Favorite Song: Meat
Notes: This was a suggestion by Will Welge. This album was super fun and unique! All of the songs were so different but still seemed like they belonged together as an album. “Meat” was my personal favorite because it had such a nice jazz feel to it, which is one of my personal favorite musical genres.
