Chester football continues its nominations of Practice Player of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week. Practice Player of the Week is Kanon Jany. Jany is a Junior at Chester and has been playing football all 3 of his high school years. He plays linebacker on defense and fullback on offense. Coaches chose Kanon because he is always willing to put in the effort to get better and is always trying to help his teammates improve.
Special Teams Player of the Week is Landon Conder. Conder is a Junior as well and has been playing all of his 3 years, too. He was chosen because of his effort put forth on special teams and how hard he works. Coaches chose him because every game starts with special teams, and he makes sure that the game starts in Chester’s favor.
