Mrs. Amy Miller and Ms. Becky Clendenin chaperoned a group of U. S. History students on a visit to the Fort Kaskaskia State Historic Site for a history-filled field trip on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

The group toured Fort Gage, The Garrison Hill Cemetery, and the Pierre Menard Home.

Shane Wagner, a local Park Ranger, led the tour and infused the day with interesting facts.
