The Chester Volleyball girls had their first home game against Murphysboro on Sept. 19.

The freshman played well but lost a really close match. The first set was 18-21, and the second set was 19-21. The JV girls won, 25-21, during the first set and 25-22 during the second set. The varsity girls started by winning the first set, 25-18. They then proceeded to lose the second one by 24-25. Finally, they then won the third set, 15-14, and secured the overall victory.
