See You At The Pole (SYATP) is a global event that is held on the same time and day all over the world! This is an event where students join together around the flagpole in front of the school and pray for the students, friends, families, facility, as well as our school and community. Every year, there is a verse of the year. This year’s verse for 2025 is Habakkuk 3:2, which states, “Lord, I am Filled with awe!” This year’s See You At The Pole was held on September 24th, 2025, at 7:15 am.
What did CHS do for the see you at the pole?
Sixty-two students, FCA leader Krista Kreig, Pastor John Brown, and Paraprofessional Ashley Bert gathered around the flagpole on September 24th, located in front of the high school, to pray for their school, community, friends, family, and nation. They started the day off with a prayer of thankfulness, love, and genuine care for our community of Chester.
As Krista Kreig stated in a Facebook post following the event, “This morning was powerful. 62 students showed up early, stood in wet grass, and lifted up prayers for our school, our friends, our families, and our nation – all for the glory of God! “ She also said in that same post, “It’s not about numbers, but knowing that 62 hearts gathered in unity is such an encouragement.” As a community, knowing that there were 62 students gathered just in the City of Chester alone! Think of how many were gathered for this moment all over the world!
Thank you to the people for making this event possible: Krista Kreig for the breakfast that was provided, Ashley Bert, and Pastor John Brown for the pictures that were taken. Thank you to everyone who poured their hearts out in prayer, including our student leaders, and anyone else who lifted our nation in prayer.
