The theme for October’s poem of the month competition is “HAUNTINGS.”
The vision —
literal: ghosts, memories, cobwebs,
and a house that is always just slightly off-balance…
or figurative: ensnarement, plagues, ideas on the tips of tongues,
and hungers that long to be sated…
in between them, the crossroads,
where souls are sold for the price of purpose.
What we need:
Your name (and anonymity preferences)
a short bio (about you)
a note about your poem

All poems are subject to the same Academic Dishonesty consequences as in-class assignments, essays, and homework.
