Meet Buckbeak! His nicknames are Bucky or Buck. He is about three years old. He is owned by the Hoskin family, but mainly by their daughter Hannah. He was a present from Hannah’s papa, and she got the name from the Hippogriff in Harry Potter. When they first brought him home, Hannah’s father had no clue they had him until about a week later when she let him into his room while he was watching sports on TV. Bucky loves to chew up all of her paper and hardcover books. He also loves it when Hannah does small gentle circles on his forehead. Sometimes he escapes from his pen and wakes her up in the middle of the night, which does get annoying a lot of the time. Every once in a while, her cats will try to play with him, but he scares them off and they’ve never messed with him since.
