Favorite Song: “Devil Moon”

Notes: This EP is very popular among the alternative music scene, and alternative music is my absolute favorite genre ever. That being said, I just surprisingly did not enjoy this EP all that much. It had good songs on it, but it wasn’t as breathtaking as I was expecting it to be, especially after seeing the hype surrounding it. I guess I was just expecting more from it, but I definitely didn’t hate it. “Devil Moon” is actually a very nice song, but I don’t think it lived up to my expectations. I still recommend listening to it and form your own opinion, as you may be able to find the charm in it that I just missed.

Album #2: Gorilla Biscuits by Gorilla Biscuits

Favorite Song: “Big Mouth”

Notes: I absolutely love this album and have listened to the full thing multiple times ever since I discovered it. I love hardcore punk music so much, as it’s definitely my favorite genre ever. So this album is just a perfect ten out of ten for me. I wish the band would have released more than two albums during their time together, as they most certainly could’ve gotten way more famous in mainstream media if they had kept going. I highly recommend this album to anyone who enjoys this style of music!

Album #3: Rich Man by Aespa

Favorite Song: “Drift”

Notes: Rich Man by Aespa is a fun and upbeat EP that has heavy dance influences and some hip-hop incorporated into it. It’s a short and fun listen that definitely puts me in a major K-Pop mood. I’d like to listen to more of their stuff and just more music in this same genre in general.
