The Chester Yellow Jackets suffered a 50-43 loss to Carterville on Saturday.
The Jackets fell to 9-7.
Chester opens play in the Chester Invitational Tournament at 6 p.m. Tuesday against Shawnee. The Yellow Jackers are the No. 1 seed in the tournament.
