The Kaskaskia District of the Greater Saint Louis Council had their district dinner Feb. 1. At the district dinner, several district awards were handed out. David Bargman, the Scoutmaster for Scout Troop 347B, won an award for Scout training. Christie Brace, the Pack leader for Pack 316 of Chester,  won an award for being a good leader for the pack. Also at the district dinner, the district council representative recognized all of the Scouts who reached Eagle Scout in 2019.

Andy Bryant of Chester High School was one of the recognized Eagle Scouts. There were 38 other Eagle Scouts who were recognized, but not all of them were present for the district dinner for one reason or another. Each Eagle Scout who was recognized received a plaque with his name, a little bit about the Eagle Scout which included future plans, and the day the Eagle Scout completed his Eagle Scout.
