Chester Defeats Vienna 41-8

Chester rushed for two touchdowns in the win over Hamilton County.

The Chester football team had an incredible win against Vienna last Saturday, April 3. The final score was 41-8.
The game was played at Vienna and Chester was the away team.

Six touchdowns were scored in the game.

In the first quarter, Jordan Merideth had a 49-yard pass from Dylan Kelkhoff, followed by a Jared Landeros extra point kick.
After the first successful drive of the game, Merideth had another 4-yard run into the end zone, scoring a Yellowjacket touchdown. The opposing team had a turnover which gave the Yellowjackets the chance to run the ball, Ethan Stumpe had a 7-yard run, followed by a successful Landeros extra point kick. Last to score in the first half was Daigen Hunter with a 3-yard run into the endzone. Landeros kicked the extra point.
In the second quarter, two TDs were scored both by Merideth; the second was a successful 34-yard run.

This week’s game is against Sesser’s Red Devils at home on April 9. After a 2-1 start, it’s the Jackets first game on their home field.
