The Chester High School Swing Choir performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” during announcements on Sept. 10.
The chorus annually performs the song as a tribute to 9-11.
As part of the school’s tribute to 9-11 and the 13 service members who were recently killed in Afghanistan, person’s attending Friday’s Chester-Freeburg football game are encouraged to wear red, white and blue or other patriotic clothing at the game.
